About

Hey everyone, I’m Kirsty! I’m an Australian gal, a Social Worker, and a self-care activist who also studies Literature and Writing on the side. I adore coffee, hiking, deep conversations and exploring. I love producing content and exploring the many issues that I hold dear to my heart. I am a bit of a hippy, a loyal friend, and a lover of all animals. Travel is my twin passion next to writing, and exploring the many corners of this earth is my biggest goal.

Please feel free to comment, like and share anything and everything that you enjoy from my site, and spread the good vibes!

  1. Hi Kirsty

I tracked you down because I couldn’t find anywhere to comment on Weekend Notes. I just wanted to thank you for the great article you put together for ANZAC Cottage’s November Nostalgia event for Weekend Notes. It must be difficult trying to get into someone else’s head to try and ensure that you have captured the ‘essence’ of an event. You certainly did that- thank you so much

  2. Hi Kirsty
I first saw your site when I responded to an ad about an Indian Festival that was held in Elizabeth Quay recently. Then I saw your blog on Japan which interested me greatly as I am going there for a holiday in May. Your site looks great and I love your photos. In the last few weeks I have created my own blog site so I am gaining inspiration from yours. I started mine to promote my book “Chasing Marigolds” which is due to be released this month so it’s been a busy few weeks for me. All the best for 2020 and keep on blogging.
